"Home is where the heart is..." We all know how important first impressions are don't we? But how many of us think about what our front door is saying about us?! I recently gave my front door a makeover (keep your eyes peeled for that post soon), but there was still something missing and I couldn't put my finger on what it was. This is the finishing touch for my front door, the Dark Brown Rattan Heart Wall Plaque. Isn't it simply beautiful? I love having a wreath on the door at Christmas, but I wanted something slightly more low-key for the rest of the year. This truly is perfect, it just makes everything look right. It's also the perfect base for seasonal decorations, for example I'm planning on hanging some pine-cones from it with ribbon once they fall! Of course, you don't have to hang this wall plaque on the front door, you could place it anywhere in your home! It would look lovely above your bed or on a cupboard in the kitchen. As you can see it's battery operated (3 x AA) so you can move it without being restricted by the need of a plug! Unlike some battery operated lights though it does have an on/off switch which is a great feature!  The Dark Brown Rattan Heart Wall Plaque can light up your life with its 20 LED lights, which are a lovely warm white. They give off a lovely glow, nothing too bright but enough that I can see where to put my key when I open the front door in the dark! The lights also mean this could become an integral part of your Christmas lights (sorry but it's less than 4 months now); some mistletoe, pinecones, bit of tinsel.. PERFECT! This light is such amazing value when you consider how versatile it is, but then it is from ValueLights so that's not surprising!! It's just £12.99 with free delivery.  As you can see above, my only issue is that I can no longer look out of my spy-hole, but I'm fairly certain it's a design-flaw in the door anyway. What's the point of having a spy-hole when the door has windows in it? You can't have a sneaky look and pretend you don't know that someone is there, if they can see you standing there can you?!!? I absolutely adore this LED wall plaque, it has brightened up my front door and it makes me smile every time I see it.
