Hooray! It's a bank holiday and the sun is shining! Will wonders never cease? ;) You may have seen my recent review of Ultrasun's Ultralip, today's post is about another of Ultrasun's fab range of sun protection.
Ultrasun Face 30 is another fab Swiss made product. It is contained in an airless pump bottle, which is designed to cut down on germs and contamination. The bottle is super easy to use, and dispenses a decent amount of product per pump, but doesn't give out too much to save on waste!
Face 30 claims to give you enough protection that you only need to apply this once a day, which is great if you're going to be on the go! Of course I'd recommend you reapply if you go swimming or wash your face!
Not only does Face 30 protect you from the sun, it also has anti-ageing properties. It's Boron Nitride cuts down moisture loss and reduces fine lines! So it's a sun cream and an anti-ageing cream in one!
Because it's free from perfume, emulsifiers and preservatives Ultrasun Face 30 is great for people with sensitive skin, who are also more prone to sun damage!
I'm sure you all know the rules about staying safe in the sun but with Face 30 Ultrasun provide a leaflet with some safety advice, so I thought I'd share these with you below:
-Apply sun protection in the shade 15-30 mins before exposure
-Keep babies and young children out of direct sun
-Don't sunbathe between 11am and 3pm.
-Stay away from bright surfaces such as sand, water, snow etc.
-Drink regularly approx. 1 glass an hour
-Keep your head covered and use sunglasses.
I found Ultrasun Face 30 to be a light and easy to apply formula, which wasn't sticky or greasy. It is a good base for makeup so don't worry about makeup not staying put.
I'd definitely recommend Ultrasun Face 30, it is a definite investment as part of your sun protection regime. As it is only once a day application it should last quite a while, and you can't put a price on protecting your skin.
You can buy 50ml for £20.00 from Ultrasun here: http://www.ultrasun.co.uk/products or from other Ultrasun stockists which you can find a list of here: http://www.ultrasun.co.uk/stockists
I hope you all enjoy your Bank Holiday, and remember to stay safe in the sun!
