GOSH BB Cream review

GOSH BB Cream is a strange product. It's not really a BB cream, or at least not like a traditional one, but most that claim to be aren't these days.

It has a lovely creamy texture to it , and I found it was really easy to apply. The tube recommends using either fingers or a brush, but I chose to apply mine with a sponge, as it is my preferred method.  I did also apply it with my fingers when using it only as a moisturiser, and found it was just as easy as using a sponge and created just as even a coverage.

I found that as a foundation, there were days when it wasn't quite substantial enough for me when I wanted a bit more coverage (damn blemishes!). Although I did wear it as a foundation on a number of occasions and I marvelled in the lovely light feeling it gave my face.
As a moisturiser GOSH BB Cream is very effective, it is very hydrating and deals with dry spots extremely well  and it feels lovely and luxurious during application.I did however feel that it was maybe a bit too heavy for everyday moisturising needs.

I found that GOSH BB was most effective as a primer. It gave enough coverage so that copious amounts of foundation weren't needed whilst ensuring the foundation had longer staying power.

I also like the fact that it contains SPF 15 but a higher factor would be preferable.

Another pro-point of GOSH BB Cream though has to be it's colour match  I Tried the SAND variation, as pictured, and found that it matched my skin tone aftermost perfectly. It could be because of this that I found the coverage not as substantial as I would have liked, so a darker tone could be considered.

Overall. GOSH BB Cream is a good product, it's a brilliant primer, as well as a good foundation and moisturiser, although it may not be perfectly suited to the latter two. It's something I will definitely consider buying again.

You can buy your GOSH BB Cream for £7.99 (RRP) from Superdrug stores or
