If you follow me on twitter or if you've been reading my posts for a while then you will know that I really struggle with sleep, so I am thrilled to be trying out the S+ by ResMed that tracks your sleep and tells you ways that might help to improve it! It's like your own personal sleep therapist!
At the top of this post is the full unboxing video so you can get a look at the S+ for yourself, as well as seeing what is included in the box. Doesn't it look interesting?
So now you've seen what it looks like how does it work? Well it's actually pretty clever! You pair the S+ to your phone or tablet via bluetooth after downloading the app. You'll then be asked some questions such as weight, height, as well as lifestyle questions including; how often you exercise before bed.
The S+ is then placed next to your bed, and when you're sleeping it will track your breathing patterns which tells it what stage of sleep you are in. It will also record light levels and temperature.. both of which can have a huge impact on your sleep quality!
There are other features too.. you can leave yourself a to-do list so you go to bed with a clear head, listen to some soothing sounds to both go to sleep and wake up, and getting daily feedback so you can pinpoint exactly why you didn't sleep as well as you would have liked!
I told you it was clever! It's got a lovely sleek and simple design so it will fit perfectly in any bedroom, and the pod detaches from the frame just incase you want to take it away with you on holiday.
On first glance ResMed seem to have thought of everything with the S+ so I'm really looking forward to trying it out properly over the next couple of weeks! I'll then report back to you guys with a full review and a bit of a sleep diary as well!
As I said, sleep is a huge problem area for me.. with at least one night a week being completely sleepless for no apparent reason, so I have high hopes for the S+.. fingers crossed it lives up to them!
