Now I don't know about you guys, but I'm always looking for quick and easy ways to give my skin some hydration, because I feel like I'm always running a little dry.. especially my lips, which are perpetually chapped.
So when I found the new Miracle Balm flavours from Purple Tree I was definitely interested and couldn't wait to try them out for myself.
These are new additions to the original range of Papaya, Shea Butter, Pomegranate, Coconut, Aloe and each one is full of naturally-derived ingredients and they're all vegan-friendly and cruelty free (YAY!). Plus they're all made right here in the UK.
They come in a handy 25ml tube which makes them the perfect size to take with you everywhere, and I think I do now have one with me all the time; whether it's next to my bed, on my desk, in the car or in my bag. And at £3.99 you can treat yourself to as many of the varieties as you like!
The 6 new varities each have their own properties, which I'll list below, and they smell amazing (the fruity ones taste quite good too), plus they have so many uses!
You could use them as a lip balm, which is when the fruity taste comes in, they provide an instant hit of long-lasting hydration that doesn't feel sticky or greasy. Dry hands or patches of dry skin? Rub it on and you get smooth skin and great scent! If your hair is sticking up in one really annoying place or if your eyebrows need a little bit of taming, then one swipe of balm will solve that straight away.
I've used mine so much in the week or so I've had them and they are so incredibly useful. I mainly use mine on my lips and cuticles, but other suggested uses are to make bare eyelashes look thicker, as a highlighter or even as primer (which I haven't tried yet).
The new varities and their properties are:
It's honestly pretty hard for me to choose a favourite out these because I love all of them. I use the vanilla on my lips before bed because of the soothing scent, while the watermelon is in my bag for touchups during the day and the signature version is the one I turn to for any dry skin on my face before I put makeup on. But really I think this comes down to your personal preference with the smell and none of them smell artificial, plus they feel great on your skin and absorb really quickly.
I absolutely love the Purple Tree Miracle Balms and when I've used them all up I will definitely be buying some more and probably trying out the other original flavours too.
If you want to buy your own, they're available here: https://thisisbeautymart.com/brand/purple-tree/
If you do decide to try them out for yourself please let me know what you think and let me know which one you think smells the best down in the comments below, or recommend your own balm preferences! I always love to hear from you guys :)
Stay safe, x
