My Bathroom Renovation Tips For 2015

Do you feel it’s about time to give your bathroom some attention? I have to admit I've fallen a bit out of love with mine. Today, I’m going to make some suggestions for techniques and ideas. They should help you to gain some inspiration and come up with the perfect plan. I don’t expect you to replicate this design completely, but the same basic concepts should apply!
Build a walk-in shower
Unless you have a medical problem that means you need to take baths, a walk-in shower is the best solution. The image shows that you can build something very large if you remove your tub. You will need to contact a professional if you don’t know anyone with the right skills. Do not mess around with pipework yourself because you’ll probably cause damage. Even worse, you could flood your home and end up having to spend thousands!

Choose the best lighting solutions
Most ladies like to spend a lot of time in the bathroom getting ready. So, it makes sense that you will need a decent lighting solution. Ideally, you want something that will illuminate your mirror and make it easier to apply your makeup. A modern satin and nickel vanity light would do the job perfectly. Make sure you have a light that flatters but doesn't deceive.. while we all want to believe our pores aren't THAT visible we do want to be able to see if we've got toothpaste on our chin!

Add some stylish floor tiles
Once you've got your layout finished, you'll want to lay some new floor tiles. Old ones can begin to look a little dreary, and so you might want an update. I was surprised to see lots of great deals on auction websites. It’s always a good idea to shop around. You should purchase the largest tiles you can find if you want to reduce the amount of work. As I’m sure you understand, it’s easier to lay eight big tiles than sixteen small ones. Just bear in mind that you’ll need to invest in a tile cutter too.

Think about accessories
I bought lots of accessories for our bathroom online. You should do the same if you want to give it the personal touch! There are so many different choices you could make that recommendations are pointless. However, you’ll find some cool bathroom artwork available online. Just search Google. On top of that, those heart-shaped wall plaques are perfect. You just need items that are not going to deteriorate quickly. Remember, your bathroom gets wet, and there are fast temperature changes!

I hope my suggestions have helped to point you in the right direction this afternoon. Renovating your bathroom is sometimes a daunting task. However, you’ll achieve fantastic results if you take inspiration from the right places. In truth, you probably need to set at least a few hundred pounds aside for the best results. Even so, your new bathroom design should stay looking fresh for at least a couple of years!

Good luck & stay safe, x
