"A craftsman is only as good as his tools" and the same goes for cooking! The pans you use can have a major impact on not only how your food cooks, but how it tastes. Ozeri's Green Earth Pan goes further, it is so effortless to use it stops the washing up afterwards from being a chore!

The Green Earth Pan is coated with a ceramic non-stick coating called Greblon, which is from Germany, and is 100% PTFE and PFOA (and other harmful chemicals) free! "Conventional non-stick cookware is achieved through a coating of PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene), a synthetic substance that has waxy properties. At very high temperatures, PTFE begins to decompose and release fumes which are documented to be lethal to birds and small pets, and which can be harmful to humans. In addition, traditional pans incorporating PTFE are manufactured with the aid of PFOA (PerFluoroOctanoic Acid), which the EPA has classified as a 'persistent pollutant of the environment'."

As you can see in the photo above the pan has a textured base which not only ensure your food doesn't stick to the bottom, it also provides air pockets under your food to allow for even heat distribution and perfectly cooked food! Because the pan is truly non-stick you don't have to use as much oil/butter/etc to cook with, which is better for everyone!  The bottom of the pan not only looks fantastic (I stroked it a few times when I took it out the box!) but it is also magnetized which means quicker heat transfer on induction stoves.

I've used the pan to cook a number of dishes; from frying eggs to browning mince, but I thought I'd share with you how it fared when I cooked a chicken curry! With my old pans it always ended up being a particularly horrible washing up experience afterwards, and I was interested to see how this pan differed.
As you can the 20cm pan is the perfect size when you're cooking a curry for 2! The Green Earth Frying Pan is also available in 26cm & 30cm if you have a bigger family. The most impressive photo from the curry cooking is below...
That's not burnt on, it's not stuck on, it just wipes right off! A quick swish with the sponge and it's good as new, which means you won't have to threaten the non-stick coating with a scourer! It was so easy and effortless, and I was very impressed!

It might seem a strange thing to say but I adore this frying pan! It makes cooking and the post-cook cleaning so easy! This is now my preferred frying pan and I'm seriously considering buying a larger one to replace the one I have currently.

You can get your hands on your own Green Earth Frying Pan by Ozeri on Amazon for £19.99 for the 20cm version.

It's so nice to have a non-stick pan that is actually non-stick!

Stay safe, x
