If you caught my introduction to the new AW16 range from GOSH (here) then you'll already know a little bit about these products, but I was lucky enough to get my hands on the products so now I can tell you how they really perform! So without further ado, let's jump straight into the reviewing..

Lash Sculpting Fibre Mascara - £9.99
Picture
As you can see this is the top image for this post and it looks like just a normal mascara doesn't it? But it's not! I previously had a terrible experience with a fibre mascara so I was really cautious about this one.. but I jumped right in and I'm so glad I did. In terms of feel I didn't notice the fibres at all; they didn't itch or irritate me in any way. For the look the mascara really is fantastic at building up some real structure to your lashes and I absolutely love it! Below you can see the difference it makes (with just 2 light coats)..  5/5
Brow Sculpting Fibre Gel - £6.49

I generally don't pay a lot of attention to my eyebrows; they already have a good arch and apart from a few stray hairs I don't go near them with tweezers. I also don't really fill them.. normally because I forget! I've definitely never used a brow gel so this was a whole new world for me! I can't say it made a huge difference, in fact I'm not sure it really made any real difference at all... but it felt really nice going on! It's a very wet formula which you simply brush on and you can feel it gripping to your eyebrows and then it dries pretty quickly. If you have barer brows that need for filling in then this could be a great product for you but for me it doesn't really fulfil a need. 2/5 - but better if you have thin brows!
Giant Pro Liner - £6.99

I love eyeliner. It's the most important piece of makeup for me and I never leave the house without it, it completes my face. I normally use a much finer tip pen than this so I was interested to see if I could still get the same results.
As you can see with the photo you can get different line thickness simply by using a different area of the liner.. it's easy!
I found it really simple to use the very tip to get the same fine line that I'm used to and the thicker pen is much easier to hold so you're less likely to make mistakes! I absolutely love this eyeliner and now use it daily instead of my previous product! 5/5 I LOVE IT
Overnight Primer Oil Essence - £14.49

I was fascinated by the prospect of this product and I couldn't wait to give it a go. Basically ignore the primer part of it for now because it's all about night-time application. Cleanse your face as normal and then put a few drops of this oil into your hand and smooth over your face and neck. If you have particularly dry skin then you can follow this with your usual night cream if you need to. It smells divine because it contains lavender so it might help you sleep as well and it feels amazing on your skin. I found it to absorb really quickly and left my skin feeling soft almost immediately. Now the primer part.. the next morning my skin definitely had more of a glow than usual, even after a bad night's sleep and my makeup looked a bit brighter too. This is a wonderful oil alone but it's primer aspects make it even more amazing!
5/5 I will absolutely repurchase this when it runs out!
Velvet Touch Lipstick Matt - £6.99

These lovely lipsticks are all matt in shade and contain natural waxes & hyaluronic acid that moisturise, smooth and soothe your lips! I found them really easy to apply despite being matt as they are a really smooth formula so they don't drag at all. The colours are all bright and pigmented, and I would expect them to suit most skintones. I found them did show up dry skin quite a lot but that's more my lack of preparation than anything else! These are warm colours so perfect for Autumn and Winter and I'll definitely be wearing them all the way to Spring.
5/5 - Lovely shades, great formula!
Gosh Contour'N Strobe Kit - £12.99
Picture
In all honesty I still don't have much of a grasp on contouring and strobing is still about 90s discos for me.. but I do love this palette. The highlighter is lovely and has a gorgeous sheen, I've really taken to this particular item and love sweeping some across the top of my cheekbones. The blush is a the perfect tone for me as it's warmer without being outrageously pink or obvious..I'm normally not a big fan of blush as I spend most of my time fighting redness but it's a lovely shade and I have used it and got a few compliments too! Now the contour shades.. eek. They both apply and blend very easily but they are both way too dark for me so if you're pale step away. It's a shame because the highlighter in particular is amazing but for me the contour shades aren't suitable.
3/5 - LOVE the highlighter, blush is good, not keen on contour
Foundation Plus+  (Cover + Conceal) - £9.99
Picture
Now first of all, THANK YOU GOSH because the lightest of these shades (002) is perfect for me. It's just light enough and it had the perfect undertone too.. it is literally my skintone but clearer! I love that this is both foundation and concealer, and although I was originally a bit sceptical it definitely lives up to this claim and performs both actions perfectly. Even with unwelcome spots I didn't need to use any extra concealer just applied this foundation and job done...this is a miracle. It even helped to cover my under eye circles, although if I had a particularly bad night I'd probably still touch them up with some extra concealer. It has a lovely texture and goes on like a dream. Even after taking it off my skin feels softer and nourished so it's special ingredients are definitely doing their job. I love it and will continue wearing it on a daily basis until it runs out and then I'll buy some more! 5/5 I LOVE IT.. FABULOUS FOUNDATION!

So in summary I'm really impressed with the AW16 range from GOSH.. my standout products have to be the foundation and eyeliner, but every one of the products would work well for someone depending on skintone or eyebrow situation.
Great job GOSH!

Stay safe, x
