Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo xL Round Brush review lifeappears.com
I have a lot of hair. It's very thick and reaches the bottom of my spine. It's also a real pain to brush because it's naturally curly so gets tangled up pretty easily. Because of all those things, finding a hair brush that actually detangles without making things look worse and pulling out half of my hair in the process is actually quite difficult.

So when I read about the Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo xL Round Brush which is infused with coconut oil to detangle, hydrate and add shine I was instantly interested. But can a hairbrush with a bit of oil infused really make that much of a difference? I decided to try it out for myself!

Now I have friends that have been telling me about the benefits of coconut oil for far too long.. it's good for your skin, it's good for your teeth, it's good for your hair and you can eat it. But there's just one problem, I hate it. It tastes horrible and the texture is just.. yuck. So if I can get some of those hair benefits without actually having to touch the stuff, it's a big thumbs up from me straightaway.  But does it work?

Well, the first challenge for the brush was coming face to face with my wet hair.. aka tight ringlets that will turn to balls of frizz if you so much as look at them the wrong way. I normally rely on a wide-toothed comb that manages to wrestle the tangles out but also takes quite a bit of hair with it and hurts. The CoCo LoCo round brush passed the first test with flying colours, it got rid of the knots pretty easily and seemed to pull out a lot less hair than the comb. It left my hair looking smooth and frizz free, which was actually an effect that lasted rather than disappearing almost immediately.

I used the brush again when my hair was mostly dry and the frizz had set in (there's no stopping it). I was ready to blow-dry and the brush handled my hair well and when paired with my hairdryer my hair looked soft, shiny and smooth and there was no frizz in sight. Another big thumbs up from me on the second test.

Then there was just my everydry dry hair to test the brush with and I tend to style my hair straight so it's not normally a particularly difficult job but it can get quite tangled, especially in the morning (simply because there's so much of it!). But the brush had no issues at all, it handles knots with ease and again left my hair looking really healthy.

I was amazed how much difference a hair brush could make but it really did show in my hair. My hair has been smoother since I started using it, it's softer, it looks and feels healthier, I lose less of it when brushing and there's a really nice shine to it that I don't normally have. I'm also fairly certain it's made my scalp less greasy which essentially makes this a miracle worker from my point of view. I absolutely love it and it's replaced my old brush which found a new home in the bin!

Would I recommend it? Yes yes yes! So if you want to see what it could do for your hair you can get your hands on your own Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo xL Round Brush on Amazon for £7.99 here.
