Finding your personal style is all about finding things that you look and feel great in. It’s OK to experiment with different looks and styles, but more often than not you’ll find a style that you stick with more than anything because it just feels like ‘you’. Want help finding your personal style? Take a look: Make a Pinterest Board The first thing you should do to find your personal style is create a Pinterest board. You can even create a board in real life, but a Pinterest board is much less messy and so much quicker. Think of people whose style you admire, and then add some of your most loved outfits of theirs to your board. You can then think of other things/styles you like and see what comes up. Only add the things you absolutely love and would wear yourself to your board. Then you can see where the pattern is and what kind of style it is you prefer. You can look back at your board when shopping or feeling confused! You can see an example by looking at my board here, I'm always adding more pins! Use Words to Describe You/Your Style How would you describe yourself or your style? Use up to 5 words. Anything that doesn’t fit those 5 words shouldn’t make its way into your wardrobe! If you describe yourself as fun, eccentric, quirky, unique, and colourful, why would you go out and buy a classic camel coat? Sure, they look great on almost everybody, but it doesn’t sound to me like it’s ‘you’. Chances are you’ll wear it a few times and then throw it away. Trust me - I’ve been there! I bought a blue sequin mini skirt years ago (I know, but it was shiny), I've only just brought myself to acknowledge the fact I will never wear it. Assess Why Things Did/Didn’t Work
