Fade Out's White Anti-Shadow Brightening Eye Cream is designed to reduce puffiness & dark shadows, target fine lines & wrinkles, and brighten and even out skin tone. Sounds great doesn't it? If you're anything like me you are constantly battling dark shadows under your eyes. For me they are a permanent feature, so anything that claims to stop these is well worth a go in my book.
The science behind this Fade Out's eye cream is that it has light reflecting particles, which should instantly hide imperfections. It's also enriched with Vitamin A which should stop signs of ageing as well as hydrating the delicate skin around your eyes.
Now, so far so good. It sounds great, it promises miracles. But does it live up to them?
Firstly, I love the texture of this cream, it feels so luxurious it definitely beats every other eye cream I've tried before in this respect. Another huge plus of Fade Out's Brightening Eye Cream is that it really refreshes you, which is great first thing in the morning before you put your make-up on.
Unfortunately, I've used this cream a number of times now and I can see no evidence of it either hiding or reducing the dark shadows under my eyes. Now like I said earlier they are a permanent feature for me, so maybe someone who only gets them after a rough night would benefit from this cream, but not me.
I will agree that this cream does achieve it's main objective. It definitely does brighten up the skin around your eyes, which instantly makes you look more awake.
So I like Fade Out's White Anti-Shadow Brightening Eye Cream a lot. I love the texture, and the refreshing feel it leaves on my skin. I also like how it brightens up the skin around my eyes. But I'm still disappointed that it had no effect on my dark shadows as this is a huge selling point for me.
If you need an eye cream to refresh the skin around your eyes, or if you have very faint dark shadows, then definitely give this cream a go. You'll love the way it feels. But if you have darker shadows like me, don't expect miracles!
Fade Out White Anti-Shadow Brightening Eye Cream costs £9.18 for 15ml, which I personally think is a bit steep.
The new Fade Out line is available at Boots, Savers and Independent pharmacies.
