Edom Dead Sea Spa Shea Body Butter
For me this is a really trick time of year when it comes to looking after my skin. As I cover up more, and as the heating comes on, my skin dries out (yuck). I adore thick moisturising creams for both my face and body, but I don't really have the time to hang around waiting for them to absorb! I got my hands on this Shea Body Butter from Edom's Dead Sea spa range to see if it was any different, keep reading to find out...

Edom were one of the first to make use of the Dead Sea in their products, and they're still leading the way both in Israel and elsewhere! The thick black mud from the Dead Sea is rich in vitamins and minerals, which can really nourish and revitalise your skin in the most soothing way possible. All Edom products contain 10 essential minerals, as well as vitamins A, B & E. They then add in oils from avocado, pomegranate and grape seeds. Together these high quality ingredients help restore your skins elasticity and moisture levels!

As you can see in the photo above this body butter is so thick and luxurious, I love it. But for me the crowning glory of this cream is how quickly it absorbs. I am so impressed by this. I applied before bed last night, less than a minute later it was fully absorbed into my skin, so I could get dressed as normal without that yucky feeling of fabric on moisturiser! No hanging around, or giving up and wiping off with a towel, just a quick moisture boost that I'm still feeling today. My skin was dry at the time, but if you want to give your skin even more love try applying after your bath/shower after a quick pat down with towel.. trap that moisture in people!

The Ocean Mist part of the name relates to the scent of the body butter, and it is divine... it transports me straight to the shores of the Dead Sea, so fresh and clean! Other scents available are Coconut Vanilla and Patchouli Lavender, both of which I'm sure would smell as divine as the Ocean Mist!

It's not just the Body Butter that has impressed me from Edom; the packaging is lovely! The box is nice and simple, but tells you everything you need to know & looks good enough to be left out on it's own. The tub itself is a great size, and you definitely get a good amount for your money.

300ml costs just under £12, although the site is in dollars, with postage from Israel for only a few pounds.. you can buy your own here.

I absolutely adore this Shea Body Butter from Edom; I will be a regular user of this and probably other products from their range, and I would definitely recommend you try it out for yourself!

Let me know; do you use products with Dead Sea minerals in? Drop me a comment below!

Stay safe, x
