For whatever reason, you might find the decor of your home to be a little boring. So, you decide it’s time to change the interior design. Bearing that in mind, I’ve got a short guide to help you improve your home’s style! Fix Up Your Bedroom The bedroom is often considered the room in your house where you can let creativity run free. It’s your personal space; you can make it look how you want. Sometimes, it doesn’t even have to fit with the style of the rest of the house. There are plenty of cool and creative ways that you can fix up your bedroom. First, decide on a theme. Coming up with a theme will mean you have a mini guide to follow. If you want a modern bedroom, you’ll be looking at buying modern things for it. Then, work on adding little bits of style here and there. Get some Martex sheets for your bed to add some extra design and class. Buy a nice designer mirror and some artwork for the walls. Little things like this will go a long way to improving the style. One important thing to remember about your bedroom, is that you will be sleeping here so don't go too wild! Redesign Your Kitchen I find that the kitchen gives you an opportunity to do loads of cool things. There’s so much stuff in your kitchen you can play around with. Change the tile design on the floor, or get some new wallpaper. These two ideas can completely change the dynamic of a kitchen. Improving your kitchen design will improve overall house style. You may want to go for a complete overhaul and design a brand new kitchen. Perhaps you have a modern kitchen and want it to be a bit more rustic. Rustic kitchens are great because they create a real homely vibe in the house. Especially if you have space for a big countertop that the family can sit around and eat at. Or, you can go in the opposite direction and make your rustic kitchen more contemporary. Whatever works best for you! It doesn't have to be drastic or expensive either, we wanted some "focal" tiles in our kitchen so I bought some tile stickers off amazon.. easy peasy! Focus On Your Living Room
When you first move into a home, the living room is the first thing you look at. It’s the family room, the place where you gather as one. You’re going to be spending a lot of time in that room. As such, you want to ensure that the style is on point. If you ever have guests round, they’re likely to see a lot of your living room. It has to look perfect. Again, like with every room in your house, decide on a certain style. How do you want your living room to look? Once you’ve decided on the route you want to go down, you can begin designing it. Start with the floor and walls, get some classy wallpaper and flooring. Then, think about all the accessories, get some designer stuff to increase the room’s appeal. Slowly but surely your living room will come together and be stunning! Follow this guide if you want to improve the interior design of your house. If you do, it will be more stylish and look even more fabulous than before! I'd love to know if you have any tips of your own, or even better... PHOTOS! Stay safe, x
